The Embarcadero Case Study
To model and render a brick wall on a computer you generally don't model every brick. Instead, you wrap a picture of bricks around a rectangular volume. The 3d geometry comes from a CAD program, the bricks from a program such as Photoshop. Most projects require both a CAD program and Photoshop. There are times, however, when only one or the other is necessary. This case study looks at a project conceived and created entirely in Photoshop to demonstrate the digital equivalent of taping together site photos and sketching design scenarios on a trace overlay. The steps taken are further described on this page. This project is used as a case study in the Photoshop Workshops. |
